    About Us: We are a dynamic new dental practice located in Upland downtown, California, dedicated to providing outstanding care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our team strives to create a positive experience for every patient, and we are looking for a motivated and friendly Front Desk Clerk to help us achieve that goal. We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Front Desk Representative to join the team at our new dental practice.

    Job Description: As a Full-Time Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and contributing to a positive patient experience. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and friendly attitude will be key in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet and check in patients, making them feel comfortable and welcome.

    Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.

    Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing.

    Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.

    Assist in managing patient flow, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing wait times.

    Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth and timely transitions between appointments.

    Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays, and assist with insurance verification.

    Handle patient communications, including reminder calls and follow-up messages.

    Manage office supplies and ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked.

    Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the office manager or dentist.

    Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms

    Maintain a clean and inviting environment

    Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.

    Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role in a dental or medical office is preferred, but not required.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    Strong work ethic and positive attitude

    Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling software).

    Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.

    Ability to work well in a team environment.

    Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance is a plus.

    Familiar with computers and scheduling software

    Excellent multi-tasking skills

    Schedule:

    Full-time position, Monday through Friday (exact hours to be determined based on practice needs).
