Job Summary
We are seeking a customer service-oriented Front Desk Representative to join the team at our out patient physical therapy clinic. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact. You will greet patients as they arrive, schedule appointments, answer phone calls, collect payment information, and assist patients by explaining insurance eligibility and plan benefits. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking. Performs other assigned duties.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-year customer service experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Able to read;write legibly; speak in english with professional quality.
Able to distinguish colors, sounds, and see adequately to read computer screens and written documentation.
Able to communicate positively, and effectively with others.
Able to use operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
Able to manage mutiple tasks, and work independently.
Able to problem solve, think critically, and pay attention to detail.
