The Front Desk Supervisor is a member of the Executive team at the property. The Front Desk Supervisor will work a regularly scheduled front desk shift.
Responsibilities
· Supervise the front office staff on a day-to-day basis
· Ensure high guest service standards in accordance with policies
· Attend to guests’ inquiries, requests, complaints and compliments
· Monitor departmental costs to ensure performance against budget
· Oversee staff training and procedures to ensure ongoing delivery of quality guest service
· Attend to crisis or emergency situations as necessary
· Record the details of events and take necessary actions
· Supervise Front Desk staff to ensure optimum occupancy and average daily rate
· Communicate effectively with other operating departments
· Display a high degree of professionalism and integrity as befitting a member of management
