We are seeking a friendly, dedicated office assistant to add to our growing practice! This position is considered full-time, Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The successful candidate will be highly organized and structured with consistent follow-through. This is an opportunity for an individual to thrive as we grow. Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain organized files and records to ensure efficient information retrieval.
Manage inventory by ordering office supplies as needed to support daily operations.
Execute a range of clerical tasks to facilitate smooth office functioning.
Collect patient co-pays and superbills with accuracy and professionalism.
Respond promptly to emails, ensuring effective communication with staff and patients.
Utilize EMR software (Tebra) to streamline patient information management.
Greet visitors and patients warmly, gathering essential information and notifying relevant personnel of their arrival.
Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate team members efficiently.
Accurately take and relay messages, ensuring clear communication across the office.
Maintain a detailed log of calls requiring follow-up action for accountability.
Accept and sign for incoming packages, notifying recipients of their arrival in a timely manner.
Perform various routine clerical tasks to support daily operations.
Keep the reception area clean and organized, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
Retrieve, sort, and distribute mail efficiently to ensure timely communication.
Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or Associate’s degree.
Experience: At least one year of job-related experience
