    Our firm is looking for a capable, friendly, engaging front office assistant to work in our reception area. In this role, your duties will include answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments and welcoming visitors. To ensure success, front office assistants should possess great organizational skills and the ability to professionally communicate with members of the public. Since you will be the first person clients see as they walk through our door, we are looking for an individual who can maintain a professional appearance at all times. Responsibilities: • Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls • Recording clear, concise messages • Scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings • Welcoming and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner • Handling basic inquiries • Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette • Helping maintain office calendar • Performing filing tasks • Performing other administrative tasks such as copying, etc. as needed Qualifications: • In-person position • High school diploma or GED • Formal qualification in office administration, secretarial work, or related training • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role • Exceptional ability to create a welcoming environment • Experience in answering and screening calls, as well as scheduling appointments • Ability to observe business etiquette and maintain a calm and professional appearance • Organizational and time management skills • Computer proficiency • Experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, and emails, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express • Working knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Fluent in Spanish is a plus Compensation: $15 hourly
