Front Office Coordinator - Outpatient Services
Primary responsibility to manage the daily operations of the front office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, supervising front desk staff, and scheduling coverage during all business hours. Includes ongoing analysis of front office processes and the implementation of innovative practices to optimize efficiency and ensure equitable access to services, evaluating current procedures to identify areas for improvement, utilizing technology to streamline operations, and implementing best practices that meet the diverse needs of clients and patients.
Full-time / Non-Exempt
Monday to Friday schedule
Hourly rate begins at $24.04
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of Associate degree and receptionist background required. Supervisory experience preferred. Organizational skills, attention to detail, amd ability to multitask is required. Must possess and demonstrate a high level of computer knowledge, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent phone manner and communication skills are essential.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Ensures that the front office staff is well-trained, informed, and aligned with organizational goals and values. By promoting an inclusive and accessible environment, the Front Office Coordinator contributes to enhancing the overall service experience and supporting the organization’s mission.
Train, supervise, and provide ongoing support to front desk staff, including scheduling of front desk coverage to ensure seamless operations and complete staff availability during business hours.
Responsible for the oversight and collection of co-pays, eligibility and verification of benefits across the agency . Verify state insurance coverage for client intake appointments; recheck monthly. Provide self-pay clients with sliding fee scale and application.
Centralized Scheduling Management: Responsible for maintaining and coordinating clinical and medical staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. This includes scheduling timely appointments for clients, managing appointment availability, and ensuring that all necessary resources are in place to meet client needs.
