Responsibilities: Administrative Oversight: • Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings. • Oversee billing and insurance processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ordering as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow. • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Staff Management: • Supervise office staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members. • Handle scheduling, time-off requests, and other personnel matters in collaboration with the practice manager or owner. Patient Relations: • Welcome and assist patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. • Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. • Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations (HIPAA). Financial Management: • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. • Prepare financial reports and assist with budget planning as needed. • Coordinate with the billing department or external billing service to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
