    Summary

    Are you a experienced and motivated leader with a passion for great food and exceptional service? As Front of House Manager at Terra Cotta Pasta Co, you will oversee the daily operations of our retail area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of service and quality while contributing to the overall success of our marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    Supervise front of house staff and operations to ensure exceptional service and hospitality.

    Manage shift schedules and coordinate staff training and development.

    Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.

    Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize resources.

    Maintain and ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service to customers and marketplace associates alike.

    Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front and back of house.

    Oversee product stocking, organization and rotation in store displays and merchandising.

    Purchasing, receiving and maintaining good vendor relations.

    Help create and complete daily prep lists and assignments.

    Maintain high levels of cleanliness in FOH work and retail areas, display coolers and freezers.

    In your role as front of house manager other duties not listed may be assigned as necessary to ensure proper running of front of house operations.

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in restaurant, hospitality or retail food service management, preferably in a similar role.

    Working knowledge of POS systems.

    Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.

    Outstanding communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike.

    Knife skills a plus.

    Experience in shift management within a fast-paced environment is essential.
