    Job Summary:

    Beyond Amazing Donuts is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fry Cook/Decorator to join our growing team. This role involves frying our signature donuts to perfection and creatively decorating them to align with our brand’s high standards. As part of our kitchen team, you will play a key role in crafting donuts that not only taste amazing but look stunning too.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Fry Cook, you will operate and monitor commercial fryers to prepare donuts to the correct texture, color, and consistency. You’ll ensure all donuts are fried according to recipes and production standards while maintaining proper oil levels, cleanliness, and temperature to meet food safety guidelines. Troubleshooting any frying equipment issues and reporting them promptly will also be essential.

    As a Decorator, you will decorate donuts with glazes, icings, drizzles, and toppings according to menu specifications and seasonal themes. You’ll create visually appealing designs and experiment with creative ideas to match Beyond Amazing Donuts’ brand. Consistently decorating donuts with attention to detail and packaging finished products neatly and professionally using branded materials are key components of this role.

    In addition to these responsibilities, you will adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards, assist with scaling and preparing doughs and glazes as needed, and communicate with team members to ensure efficient production and restocking of donuts. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, taking inventory of supplies, and informing management of low stock are also part of the role.

    Qualifications:

    Prior experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food production environment is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards is necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to produce consistent results, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Creativity and a passion for visual presentation and food design are highly valued. This role requires physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot environments.

    Work Schedule:

    This position requires availability for early mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on business needs. Flexible scheduling options may be available for the right candidate.
