Fuel Cell Stack/System Simulation Intern (US University, Summer 2025)
Job Description
Within the Powertrain Solutions division in Farmington Hills, MI, BOSCH is improving the quality of life by working to bring zero emission propulsion systems to the North American market (and globally) together with our OEM partners. A leading technology, especially for large commercial vehicle applications such as long-haul trucks, Hydrogen Fuel cells produce electricity via an electrochemical conversion of hydrogen gas and oxygen, with the only exhaust byproduct being water and heat.
As a Fuel Cell System Simulation Intern the ideal candidate would be part of a global team developing Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cell stacks for Light Commercial Vehicle, Medium Duty trucks, and Heavy-Duty trucks for the US/North American market. Responsible for running system and sub-module level fuel cell system simulations and developing methods to analyze field test data regarding the Fuel Cell stack performance over lifetime.
