Insero Talent Solutions has partnered with a privately held HVAC manufacturers’ representative firm in Victor, NY to recruit a Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
Position Summary:
The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for all bookkeeping responsibilities, including month-end closing, managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, and preparing financial statements, quarterly tax filings, trail balance, accounts payables and account receivables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including A/P & A/R, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, collections, and preparing financial statements.
- Quarterly tax filings.
- Participate in the month-end close.
- Processing Commission Statements for Sales Team.
- Managing credit approvals.
- Interface with payroll, medical insurance, and HR duties.
- Work with vendors and suppliers, including benefit and insurance providers.
- Prepare 401(k) report monthly.
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of an Associates Degree and 3+ years of bookkeeping experience; Notary is desired.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-Starting and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
