Full Charge Bookkeeper - Manufacturer’s Rep and Installation Subcontractor - Base Salary to 100k/year - Middleton, MA

• Our client, a well-established Manufacturer’s Rep & Construction Installation Subcontractor is currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for their Middleton, MA location.
• The Full Charge Bookkeeper will assist their small, busy accounting and administrative support department (4 people) to increase efficiency and bring the books up to date.

Responsibilities:

• All facets of construction accounting and bookkeeping functions including requisitions & insurance
• Record, & check financial transactions & posting process
• Enter data, maintain records, and reports specific to projects
• Process accounts receivable/payable; invoicing/ billing
• Reconcile accounts to investigate and rectify errors or discrepancies
• Assist with implementing process improvements and ensuring accuracy of financial records
• Help develop and maintain internal controls
• Prepare financial reports and analysis
• Assist with HR and payroll functions (prepare info to send to ADP)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred
• 5+ years’ Experience in Construction Bookkeeping/ Accounting
• Construction / Job Cost accounting
• Proficient in MS Office, and Construction Management software (TCM or similar)
• Comfortable working onsite full-time 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 80k - 100k/year range
• Bonus program based on performance and tenure with company
