  • Responsibilities

    As a Bookkeeper at The Income Tax Center, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of client's accounting processes. You will work closely with our accounting team to manage various financial transactions, perform reconciliations, and provide clients with timely and accurate financial information. You’ll be responsible for recording financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Complete bookkeeping duties: Data entry and record maintenance • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process • Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations • Make sure accounts receivable/payable are complete Qualifications: • Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel • Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required • 10+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper. Compensation: $47,000 - $60,000 yearly
