Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the multiple company's financial records, including payroll, accounts payable, and account reconciliation including Grimm Brothers and affiliated subsidiaries. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Previous experience with QuickBooks, Netsuite, and managing booking for multiple companies is preferred. Experience accounting for inventory, processing payroll, and working with the brewery industry perferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform double-entry bookkeeping to maintain the general ledger
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Oversee accounts payable processes and vendor payments
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data
- Set up accounting systems, policies and best practices
- Provide technical accounting support as needed
- Handle corporate accounting tasks efficiently
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping or related roles
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably, Quickbooks and/or NetSuite, and MS Excel
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
