    We are currently seeking a Full Stack Business Intelligence Engineer to drive data transformation, reporting, and analytics solutions. This role is ideal for a resourceful professional who is comfortable coding ETL processes in SQL and Python, whipping up relational database tables, conducting causal inference analyses, designing visualizations, and communicating with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using MySQL, Airflow, and BigQuery.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI to support business decision-making.
    • Design and conduct A/B tests and causal inference analyses using techniques like regression modeling and hypothesis testing.
    • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and explain complex analytical findings in clear actionable terms.
    • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
    • Design relational database tables.

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    • Expertise in SQL.
    • Expertise using Power BI (or similar visualization tools) to create dataflows, reports, and visualizations.
    • Experience using causal inference principles to conduct analyses of the impacts of business decisions and/or product features.
    • Experience designing and conducting A/B tests.
    • Experience designing relational database tables, including the use of indices and keys to improve performance and data integrity.
    • Experience conducting analytics with very large volumes of customer and revenue data.
    • Experience working independently to identify and act upon the most pressing data challenges with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to describe technical and statistically complex findings in clear language for cross-functional stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Expertise optimizing queries and database tables for MySQL.
    • Ability to design and implement regression and classification models for causal inference and forecasting.
    • Experience using Airflow for ETL.
    • Proficiency in Python or R.
    • Prior experience in a small company or startup environment where responsibilities span multiple functions.
    • Prior experience in an analytics role at a video game company.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary range: $130,000 - $155,000
    • Stock and annual bonus
