We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and help support our continued growth.
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will play a key role in managing the financial day-to-day operations of the business. This includes overseeing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction accounting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and reports
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
Manage payroll and related tax filings
Track job costs and support project managers with budget reports
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
Work closely with the CPA for tax prep and year-end reporting
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience; construction industry experience a plus
Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Familiarity with project/job costing
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
