    Full-Time Entry-Level Home Healthcare Aide We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our team at #1 Adult Care Home. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual capable of maintaining a warm, nurturing environment while delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities: • Enable patients to complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, toileting, shaving, grooming, dressing, etc. • Perform light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to bed making, laundry, vacuuming, etc. • Mitigate issues with medications by helping to open bottles, organizing self-administered dosing, and arranging for refills, and help the patient with meal preparation and planning • Help patients complete exercise, and physical therapy and ambulate the patient as indicated in the care plan • Execute basic medical tasks such as replacing bandages and dressings, taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices • Provide personal care tasks such as calling doctors’ offices, scheduling appointments, and coordinating Medicare and other insurance details • Sustain quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and their family members • Collaborate with the case manager to implement care plans for patients, and maintain updated and accurate care records Qualifications: • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, you may also be required to stoop, bend, reach, and transfer patients up to 250 lbs as needed • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is highly valuable- approved home health aide training programs from community colleges are accepted • Pass a full employment background check, drug test, and physical, and possess current CPR certification and first aid training • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills Compensation: $20 hourly
