Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Indian Land, South Carolina in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for a family of four, including 1-½-year-old boy and girl twins and a 4-½-year-old boy. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, with the flexibility to stay later if needed. It would be a bonus if the Family Assistant could travel with the family on occasion.

The best Family Assistant would be kind, energetic, loving, patient, dependable, and experienced in caring for multiple children. It is essential for the family to find an experienced Family Assistant who is self-motivated and can anticipate the needs of the family. Dad is on leave from work until spring and is looking for someone who will divide and conquer with him, and will keep an open line of communication once he is back to work. Their 4.5-year-old will be in preschool 5 days a week and the twins 2 days a week from 9:00 am - 1:15 pm, on occasion the Family Assistant will be asked to help with school drop off and pick up. When the children are at school and during afternoon nap-time the Family Assistant will be asked to complete the household duties listed below. Throughout the day, the Family Assistant should be able to meet and exceed the children’s daily needs while being active and engaged, creating fun and educational activities to help them meet their milestones, a teaching background is a plus. The children enjoy reading books, arts and crafts, playing outside, going for walks, and to the playground. Once trust is built the Family Assistant will be encouraged to take the children on outings and adventures throughout the community. It is important for the family to find a Family Assistant who will be with them for years to come.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Family’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Family meal prep including breakfast and lunch, and packing lunch boxes for preschool.

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day

• Emptying diaper pail

• Groceries ordering and pick-up

• Organizing kid’s closets, pantry, refrigerator, etc.

• General errands

Pets: The family has 2 dogs that will possibly be re-homed. The family Assistant would be asked to let them into the fenced-in backyard and occasionally feed them.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Family Assistant should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
