    Job Description:

    a2z Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time, experienced physical therapist to provide high-quality care to patients involved in car accidents, slip-and-falls, and workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and compassionate individual dedicated to improving their patient's quality of life.

    Responsibilities:

    Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.

    Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as joint mobility/range, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.

    Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.

    Continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy plan of care.

    Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.

    Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided

    Requirements:

    Must be willing to travel throughout our service area

    Service areas include Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and possibly Hartford County

    Valid physical therapy license in Maryland

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health or a related field, focusing on treating accident and injury patients.

    Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma

    Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries and experience working with insurance companies and case managers.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.

    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes.

    Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.

    Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
