Full-Time Nanny in Bernardsville, NJ

Hourly Rate: $25-30/hour

Start Date :December 2, 2024, or January 9, 2025 ( Flexible with start date)

Schedule:

• Monday and Wednesday: 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM
• Flexibility is a Plus
• Guaranteed 35 hours per week

• Available for Date Nights A Plus!!

Benefits: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation, 2-5 sick/personal days, major holidays off and paid.

Seeking a nanny for a family with 2 two young sons, aged 1 and 3 years old. Ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, caring nanny who loves to work with toddlers and preschoolers, and will create a nurturing, stimulating environment, encouraging the boys' development through structured activities and free play. Looking for a long term commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized care addressing the boys' physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs
• Create a safe, engaging, and structured environment, planning daily activities such as educational projects, crafts, and games
• Maintain hygiene routines, including diaper changes, potty training, handwashing, and occasional baths
• Transport the boys to and from nursery school, activities, and appointments (using a family car if needed)
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Assist with light household tasks, including tidying up the children’s areas, laundry, and kitchen cleanup
• Help enforce boundaries and follow established discipline guidelines

• Work with us to assess child development and plan engaging activities

Requirements:

• Prior experience with young children in a similar role
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation (a family car is available for transporting the boys)
• Comfortable around dogs (there are 2 friendly dogs at the home, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Cavalier King Charles)
• Positive, organized, and responsible

• Provide 3-5 professional references

• Must be authorized to work in the US

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
