Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (48 hours)

The best nanny for this family will be patient, kind, organized, and experienced in infant care. This role requires a nurturing nanny who will meet and exceed their child's needs, including feeding, diaper changes, naps, and playtime. Open communication with the parents is essential while maintaining their child's established daily schedule and routine. The nanny should foster an engaging and educational environment through activities like storytime, singing, tummy time, and interactive play. As the baby grows, the nanny will be encouraged to plan outings such as library visits, neighborhood strolls, music classes, storytime, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community. With plans to add a second child, they are searching for a nanny to stay with them for years to come and become part of the family. Given the family’s three-story home, the nanny must be comfortable navigating stairs while carrying the baby multiple times a day. Additionally, they should be pet-friendly, as the family plans to welcome a dog in the future. Both parents occasionally work from home in a designated office, so the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect proper work-from-home boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper pail, and stock diapers, wipes, etc.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts August 4th

• Legal pay is offered at $28 an hour, depending on experience
