Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their daughter, who will be 4 months old when the nanny starts. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would have a positive attitude, a strong passion for caring for infants and toddlers, and would be active and engaging with their daughter. Their daughter is quite young; however, the family is working on establishing a routine and schedule and has been following “Taking Cara Babies”. It would be a plus if the nanny were familiar with this scheduling method, but not a requirement as it can be easily followed. Each day, the nanny would be responsible for keeping their daughter on her schedule and routine, meeting her daily needs (Feeding, Changing, Napping, and playing), and fostering a nurturing environment throughout the day. The family is seeking a proactive nanny who will be engaging and proactively come up with fun activities that will encourage their daughter to meet her goals and milestones as she grows older. Any nanny with an Early Childhood Education background would be a plus. Throughout the day, the nanny is encouraged to read to their daughter, take their daughter on strolls, play inside and outside, and engage in developmental activities. The home has 3+ flights of stairs in the home to navigate daily while carrying the baby, and the nanny must be able to carry the baby safely up and down the stairs. The mom of the family works from home and the nanny should be comfortable working in a home with a parent also working in the home.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child are first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s bottle and meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day

• Stocking baby items

• Emptying diaper pail

Pets: The family has a 50 lb mix breed dog. The dog is friendly and has never shown aggressive behavior, but the family is extremely cautious and does not leave their daughter and dog alone together. The family expects the nanny to use the baby gates and keep them separate, especially if unattended. Occasionally, the nanny will be asked to walk the dog.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• COVID-19 vaccine and booster, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP vaccine are preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
