Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Freedom Park area of Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 11-year-old daughter, 9-year-old son, and 6-year-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed during the summer months Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 5:30 pm and during the school year 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm, guaranteed 30 hours. During the summer months, the nanny will have the option to work additional hours. The family would also like the nanny to be flexible to work different and/or additional hours during the school year when the children are off of school.

The best nanny for this family would be reliable, flexible, energetic, experienced in caring for multiple children, and can thrive in a busy household. Each day the nanny will be responsible for school pick-up at 3 PM, ensuring homework is completed before evening commitments, and transporting the children to their activities. During downtime and summer months, the nanny should plan fun outings throughout the community, including visits to parks, movies, and other engaging age-appropriate activities. The children enjoy playing sports, watching movies, and arts and crafts. Teaching the children to take responsibility for their belongings and clean up after themselves is an important part of the role. Additionally, the role includes preparing dinner for the children before going to their after-school activities. While the children are in school the nanny may be asked to help with additional household tasks, such as running errands, organizational projects, etc.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• Providing transportation from school and to various activities.

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts June 30th

• Legal pay is offered at $27-$28 an hour, depending on experience
