Job Title: Sales Center Sales Agent

Reporting to the Sales Center Manager, the Service Center Agent’s primary functions will be to address customer inquiries regarding unit and truck availability, completion of rentals and additional sales focused tasks like contacting leads and follow ups.

- Checking in daily and communicating with supervisor to receive daily assignments
- Answering inbound calls and Video Chats from both current and future customers; respond to web chats and texts
- For future customers, understand their storage needs and make recommendations for applicable storage unit; cross selling products (locks, larger units, etc.)
- Backing up for Sales Center Service Agents as needed, assisting with account information, account status inquiries, making payments, issuing gate codes, etc. for current customers
- Perform various other sales focused tasks including scheduling property visits, sending call log emails to properties, routing calls to appropriate recipients, contacting leads, etc. (Full job description available by request & will be sent to applicants continuing on in hiring process)

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills in order to persuade customers to purchase products or services and negotiate deals that benefit both the customer and the company
- Excellent professional communication skills – in person, by phone and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks and follow schedule; proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism; maintain professional appearance, office/background (for virtual call purposes) and demeanor
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task including navigating through and using multiple business applications, such as the organization’s tenant rental software and other systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work remotely, distraction free
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales setting preferred
- Contact Center environment experience required
- Experience frequently communicating with customers by phone, e-mail, chat and/or face-to-face
- Remote work experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to travel by car or airplane up to 5%
- The ability to sit for extended periods, including but not limited to 8 hours at a time
- The ability to sit for prolonged periods working at a desk on a computer
- The ability to constantly operate a computer and office equipment
