A warm and welcoming family in Austin, Texas, is seeking a highly experienced, professional, full-time nanny to provide exceptional care for their 11 months old by the start of the assignment. The ideal candidate will have between four to five years of hands-on experience working with infants, preferably as a nanny, and possess a strong understanding of early childhood development, and be fully vaccinated. The nanny will play an integral role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, supporting the baby’s developmental milestones, and assisting the family in establishing new routines during their transition to a new home.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and follow the baby’s daily schedule, ensuring a structured and predictable routine.

Provide attentive supervision at all times, creating a stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment both indoors and outdoors.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic environment for the baby, including sanitizing toys and play areas.

Observe and respond appropriately to sleep and hunger cues, ensuring the baby's needs are met with care and consistency.

Support the family’s transition to their new home by assisting in establishing and maintaining a stable and comforting routine.

Additional Details:

The family seeks to arrange a trial period in early/mid-April, with the official start date in the first week of May.

Comfort around dogs is essential.

Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, sensory, and motor development.

Serve pre-prepared nutritious meals, supporting the baby’s transition from bottle to solids.

Warm and serve bottles to the baby

Handle all baby-related care tasks, including diaper changes, dressing, and nap-time routines.

Wash, sanitize, and organize bottles, nursing equipment, and other feeding-related items.

Manage all aspects of the baby’s laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing, as well as changing and maintaining nursery linens.

Keep a detailed daily log of feedings, naps, diaper changes, and other essential activities to share with the parents end of every day.

Requirements:

• Degree or Advanced Certification Preferred (but not required)

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Renew as needed)

• Ability to make a 1 yr commitment (unless applying for a temporary position)
