Kiddie Academy of Five Forks has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, optimistic and inspiring educator to join our family us as a Full-Time teaching assistant. This position will serve in a variety of age groups so flexibility is essential.

Candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible and love working with young children. Education in Early Childhood and experience are preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include assisting with general classroom management, lesson and craft preparation and completing digital daily reports. Flexibility is essential in this position.

Teachers at Kiddie Academy of Five Forks are treated like professional educators, because they are! They have daily planning time, an hour lunch break each day, a classroom budget for needed items, opportunities to order art supplies each month, freedom and flexibility in planning their own lessons (but with plenty of support available from our leadership team) and 15 hours of free DSS training is provided. We have a teacher workroom including teacher computers, a laminator, copiers/scanner, resource books, etc. We also have a comfortable break room should you opt to take your daily break at the school. Kiddie Academy of Five Forks is a team oriented workplace where everyone is valued and contributes to the overall goal of serving our children and families well.

Each classroom has a structured schedule with time for the children to go to the gym, library, Enrichment Room and playground each day.

Pay Rate: Pay rate is based on experience and credentials, but starts no lower than 12.50 per hour.
