Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Highland Creek in finding a Temporary Full-Time Nanny for their 3-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Wednesday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Thursday 7:30 am - 2:30 pm, and Friday 7:30 am - 12:30 pm (36 hours) with additional hours one Saturday a month for date nights. It would also be a plus if the nanny is open to the possibility of traveling with the family.

The best nanny for this family would be kind, proactive, flexible, a great communicator, adaptable, and passionate about educating children. Mom stays at home and is looking for a nanny who will divide and conquer their daily needs and schedule and will take initiative when caring for the children. Respecting their discipline style and house rules is important to the parents. During the school year, their 5-year-old will be in pre-k four days a week until 1 pm and will be home full-time during the summer. Mom will handle drop-off and pick-up most days but may need the nanny to help on occasion. Potty training experience is preferred as their son is on his potty training journey. The children are very active and like coloring, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, STEM activities, Play Dough, riding bikes, swimming, and playing in the yard. It is encouraged that the nanny takes the children on outings like the library, the playground, Discovery Place, and the neighborhood pool during the summer.

The family is looking for a nanny with early childcare education experience who can foster a stimulating learning environment by creating a daily lesson plan to support each child's individual development and growth. While their daughter attends school, the nanny should dedicate time to helping their son build fundamental skills through interactive play and hands-on activities. Over the summer, the nanny should provide educational support to help their daughter maintain progress and smoothly transition into kindergarten.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and children throughout the day

• Taking out trash and emptying diaper pail

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts March 3rd (6-month contract) and ends at the end of August or the beginning of September.
