    Position: Support Staff Professional (Full-time & Part-time) We are a close-knit family dedicated to providing a nurturing home for our son, a bright and humorous young man who loves to learn and explore. He has limited vision, and we’re looking for compassionate individuals to assist him both at home and in the community. Your role will be vital in ensuring his safety and well-being as he navigates his world with curiosity and joy.

    Your Role: As a Support Staff Professional, you will be an integral part of our son's daily life. Your responsibilities will include:

    Accompanying him during engaging community outings and volunteer activities.

    Providing essential support with daily living skills, including walking, hygiene, dressing, meal prep, and more.

    Working in a 2:1 staff ratio to ensure his safety and comfort.

    Who We’re Looking For: We seek dedicated individuals who are patient, calm, and passionate about providing exceptional care. Your ability to learn and implement a Positive Behavior Plan will be essential, especially when navigating challenging behaviors. Experience in this area is a definite plus!

    Shifts Available:

    Flexible shifts: Monday to Friday from 6 PM to 11 PM,

    Weekend shifts; flexible shifts from 5 to 10 hours are available.

    Qualifications: To join our team, you should have one of the following:

    2-4 years of experience in working with people who have disabilities.

    Familiarity with supporting children or individuals with special needs is highly valued.

    Must pass a criminal background check to ensure safety.

    Experience with basic sign language is a plus!

    Kindness, empathy, and a nurturing spirit are essential.

    Comfortable with a friendly therapy dog in the home.
