We are looking for an Optician to join our fun team! We are a busy office with a 5 star rating and have been in business for over 40 years. We have a reputation for outstanding customer service! As an Optician, you will work with a variety of patients to learn about their lifestyle and needs and help them pick out eyewear that compliments their personality.

Responsibilities

Meet and talk with patients to learn their needs for eyewear

Make suggestions on frames, and assist patients in choosing the best option for them

Take facial measurements to ensure a perfect frame fit

Explain lens materials and options

Prepare specific orders for our in house lab

Explain pricing, insurance, and payment options to the patient thoroughly

Operate under all HIPPA and confidentiality regulations

Qualifications

Previous optician experience desired

Good communication skills

Strong customer service skills

Honesty is essential

Gets along well with co-workers

Prompt and dependable
