About the National Brain Injury InstituteThe National Brain Injury Institute is a specialty medical practice dedicated to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of traumatic brain injury. We are seeking a long-term team member for this office;
Duties: NO blood draws, foleys, lines, or other bodily-fluid work. NO scut. NO hospital or office politics. NO bureaucracy. NO paperwork (we are 100% paperless). NO never-ending mindless admin work.
Conduct thorough evaluations, to include history, physical exam, ROS, and detailed history of symptoms s/p brain injury.
Create a comprehensive treatment plan to address all symptoms and update plans as needed.
Collaborate with MA to ensure timely completion of prior authorization requests, requests from attorneys, and requests from patients.
Obtain or maintain DEA license.
Medication management for post-traumatic headaches, anxiety, depression, PTSD, vertigo, nausea, and other conditions related to the brain injury.
Utilize EMR to maintain accurate demographic information, scheduling of patients' appointments, and order medications.
Utilize a cloud-based platform to complete all visit report forms and testing documents and reports.
Provider will be in-charge of Houston Clinic (In-person) Dallas and San Antonio Clinic (Virtually)
Requirements
Must be tech-savvy and have knowledge with Google Apps
Preferrably Fluent in Spanish (but not required)
Willing to sign an initial of 1 year minimum contract and will be renewed on a yearly basis
Be able to reliably commute at NBII Houston office with an office address at 6161 Savoy Drive, Suite 550, Houston, TX 77036 or planning to relocate before starting at work (Required)
About the position
Starting Salary at $120,000/year subject to periodic review
Full-time W2 position
Monday - Friday from 8:45am to 5pm
Fixed weekends off
14 days PTO
4 days Mental Health Day (1per Quarter)
