We are seeking a Practice Manager supporting our clinics located in Manhattan, Queens, and Bronx. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the overall clinic operations, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, managing staff, building relationships with providers and P & L responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Define, develop and continuously improve the clinical and financial performance of existing clinics to meet specific quality/compliance, patient satisfaction, employee engagement and financial revenue and operating expense / capital expense goals.
Understand current and adjacent area market dynamics, with an emphasis on payer and competitor profiles.
Implement and support company policies and procedures relating to hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and disciplining employees in a fair, equitable and professional manner to attain a positive and productive work environment
Ensure alignment with and implementation of all federal, state and local regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures.
Exercise discretion in making decisions and assume overall responsibility for the efficient and professional operation of multiple medical clinic locations.
Facilitate the achievement of the company’s goals via implementation of corporate processes and mandates, while providing feedback on their progress and success.
Assist in the provider recruitment process and build excellent relationships with providers.
Ensure excellent customer service through setting appropriate expectations of staff, monitoring staff for desired behavior, measuring patient satisfaction, and appropriate intervention and/or remediation.
Adhere and follow all HIPAA regulations, maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred)
3-5 or more years of experience healthcare services operation experience leading multi-site practice/clinical group facilities and managing staffs of up to 75 employees.
Expert knowledge of clinic facility management, P&L ownership and proven history in compliantly growing practice revenues in conjunction with physician partners.
EMR experience preferred. (MD Land)
