    FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

    Reports to: Fund Development Leader

    OVERVIEW

    The Fund Development Coordinator position is responsible for supporting ongoing development efforts at DDP. Responsibilities will include overseeing the general membership program, online giving, database maintenance and supporting corporate partnerships, grants, and individual giving. The position will also manage grant tracking, prospecting, and grant reporting requirements.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. General Membership : Oversee DDP’s membership program to increase annual membership fees and increase the membership base.
    • Manage the planning and execution of the general membership program inclusive of personalized member communications.
    • Follow-up and track membership inquiries.
    • Manage the fulfillment of membership benefits including tickets events, discounted rentals, and recognition in annual report and on the DDP website.
    • Track and manage membership engagement in DDP’s online donor database (Salesforce.com).
    1. Online Giving and Database Management: Management of the online giving platform, including updates and reports.
    • Manage the online giving process to ensure appropriate and timely acknowledgement and processing of gifts.
    • Ensure all online donors are captured in the DDP donor database (Salesforce.com).
    • Manage routine correspondence, reconciles gifts with Accounting Department, and works with other departments.
    • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of DDP’s donor and constituent database (Salesforce) including the development of standards and procedures; maintain working knowledge of donor record-keeping standards and practices and suggest changes to processes where needed.
    1. Corp Partnerships: Contribute to securing corporate sponsorships for DDP’s signature events and managed parks and public spaces. * Assist fund development team with development of sponsorship reports, through information tracking, client relations, site visits, banner and consumable product coordination.

    2. Grants and other Funding: Support grant and other funding requests and reporting requirements.

    • Responsible for identifying grant reporting requirements and creating the processes to capture and report data on a timely basis.

    • Gather data and provide support for the Sr, Manager of Fund Development to submit grant and other funding requests.

    • Additional Responsibilities :

    • Monitor and report quarterly results including annual SMART goals and tracking for the Balanced Scorecard.

    • Support activations for rentals and sponsorships. Participate in providing event support, as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field with 2+ years of related experience with a nonprofit organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle donor interest and personal information with tact and sensitivity, in a confidential manner
    • Working knowledge of donor database software, social media tools, and comfort with technology
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Professional presentation, with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and an energetic and engaging personality.
    • Ability to build and maintain community relationships.
    • Strong organization skills, with an attention to large and small details
    • Ability to work with a diverse set of people including clients, sponsors, partners, vendors, board members and team-members.
    • Delivering friendly, courteous, professional support at all times.
    • Ability to maintain effective tracking and analysis procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, with the ability to learn future programs and software when needed.
    • Positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
    • Some evening and weekend work as required.
