    Job Description

    We are seeking a Remote Call Center Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing service information.

    Workforce1 has partnered with GCS and they are looking for high-quality Remote Customer Service Representatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Customer Care Associate position will be filled by an individual who demonstrates the appropriate skill sets to perform their daily activities in a high volume reservations and customer care call center environment. The Customer Care Associate is responsible for efficiently and in a high quality customer service oriented manner, receiving calls from customers on behalf of the New York City Transit Authority’s (NYCTA) Paratransit Services Team.

    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
    • Provide information about the services
    • Document and update customer records based on interactions

    ​QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Be at least 18 years old
    • NYC candidates only (Must be willing to go back to the office as soon as the pandemic restriction allows it)
    • Have obtained a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
    • Read, write, and understand English fluently
    • Have at least 1 year of continuous work history
    • Have at least 1 year of customer service experience
    • The ability to multi-task
    • Utilize a headset with a phone
    • Operate a computer with a mouse
    • Operate a computer with multiple software programs/screens
    • Ability to complete manual (written) and electronic forms
    • Sit/stand at a workstation for long periods of time
    • Call center and/or office experience is strongly recommended
    • Must have a computer or laptop
    • Reliable internet service
    • Secure phone-line either landline or cell are acceptable
    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Positive and professional demeanor

     

    Pay is $15 dollars an hour - Flexible schedule is available. Morning and Evening Shifts available.

    Candidate must be willing to go to the office after the Covid-19 restrictions allow it. Office located at Long Island City, Queens NY.

    Background check and drug test might be required by the employer. Skill assessment test is required before the interview.
