Position Summary:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be part of a highly collaborative, people focused, human resources team. As a key contributor of the Human Resources team, this role is responsible for supporting the staffing and retention needs of the organization, onboard process, including consulting with and advising managers on trends, staffing needs, and retention while executing Human Resources functions.
Required Skills and knowledge:
• Passion for human resources.

• Ability to lead self and others.
• Full cycle recruiting experience and assisting with onboarding employees.
• The ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail.
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The availability to work 45 hours per week.
• An outgoing and friendly disposition.
• Motivated to improve process and systems.
• Enjoy building strong partnerships.

• Experience recruiting for fast-paced, growing organizations.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicated to all levels of employees, from entry level to senior management.
• Reliable transportation.
• SHRM certified preferred, but not necessary. Will work with the right person to continue HR growth and help them become SHRM certified.
Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes-attract, source, recruit, and deliver top talent.
• Provide exceptional onboard experience through communication and responsiveness.
• Ensure that recruiting activities are aligned with company Mission, Vision and Values.
• Attend, assist, and actively participate in retention strategy.
• Acts as contact for employees regarding human resources related items, including benefits, leave of absence and company policies.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person(s).
• Inputting, updating, and maintaining data in the recruiting database.
• Assisting management with personnel issues and employee development.
• Assisting management with organizing and coordinating employee training workshops.
• Respond appropriately to time-sensitive HR issues.
• Acts as a resource for employees.
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like employee satisfaction feedback.
• Planning and executing company events.
• Protecting operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
• Providing horizontal support to other staff members of the Human Resources team.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor laws and regulations.
• Other duties and projects as required.
