REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, (Industrial or Chemical preferred) Engineering or and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to think critically with business acumen and put company’s overall mission first.
• 2-3 years of related experience in similar industries (pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health).
• Proficient in Power BI, executing and debugging basic Python/R/VBA script.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Experience managing and/or leading small project teams.
• Pass and maintain pre-employment background check and safety certification, including but not limited to outstanding professional references.
• Subject to motor vehicle report review.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and endorsements as required per position.
• Pass pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
• Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Understand, define, and document Supply Chain business data/analytics needs.
• Work with Supply Chain data and provide analytics visibility to the Supply Chain team by:
• Communicate analysis and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Identify & resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion.
• Work with management to prioritize business & information needs.
• Deliver accurate and insightful analytics to support effective operational decision-making.
• Gather requirements, analyze data, and create proof of concept.
• Design functional specifications for BI dashboards and reports.
• Architect, design and develop end-to-end business analytics solutions, interactive data visualizations, and dashboards based on the Microsoft Power BI platform.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Facilitates cross-functional team discussions.
• Other duties & reporting as assigned by Department or Team Lead.
• Establishing KPI measurements
• Developing custom reporting & dashboards using Power BI, Access, Excel & other platforms
• Support the design, implementation, and management of information reporting systems
• Investigating problems, finding root causes, and suggesting solutions
• Facilitate the different stages of the S&OP by consolidating reports, updating KPIs and preparing presentations
• Ensure each department gets the information they need to evaluate and/or execute their required tasks.
• Generate insights, recommendations, and solutions that will prepare GMP PROS for future growth.
• Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.

• Corrective actions require new thoughts and ideas on existing equipment or problems. Approach things with a broad scope at first and engineer solutions.
• This is a tough position. You are in the trenches doing work a lot of others don't want to do. It is a great opportunity to grow and learn a wide variety of skills but if you let things get to you it will show in your attitude towards others. Real positivity within you will show and make others more willing to work with you and drop their guards.
• Must be able to quickly turn information received into concise verbiage on paper. Complete stories must be told of events that occurred and actions to be taken but should not use “fluff.”
• Listen to everyone’s input before forming your thoughts or replies. Operators and others in the plant have a wealth of process and product knowledge. Some are limited to their specific trade so it’s your job to take their information to the next level and fit it into the bigger puzzle.
• In the fast-moving and changing industry of OTC and Pharma, things will change continuously. Must be able to adapt to the changes and continue making progress.
• General knowledge of project timelines and cost is important, but don’t let that limit you in the investigation and problem-solving phases.
• You won’t always be right, and that’s okay. There is a steep learning curve in this industry. Take in as much as possible and it will only benefit your future.
• Must be patient and focused while also having a continuous sense of urgency.
