Great Expectations ABA is is looking for a full-time Medical Biller to join our team. We are a rapidly growing company and are looking for someone who is excited about growing with us. We are looking for someone with experience in medical billing, CPT coding, EOBs, and other billing responsibilities. This position will also be responsible for, processing claims and updating patient information in our electronic medical records system. Main functions of this position include intake coordination and interface with current and potential clients.
Responsibilities:
CentralReach profile set-up
Insurance verification set-up
Initial & concurrent authorization requests and maintenance
Point of contact for new client referrals
Assist all insurance verifications, internal compliance audits & projects
Manage phone calls from parents and insurance companies as well as voicemails
Assist with Insurance Provider relations
Mail processing and distribution
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience (preferred but not required)
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required)
1-2 years experience in healthcare administration (preferred but not required)
Competency in Google G-Suite applications as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
Familiarity with billing software and data collection platforms preferred but not required
Knowledge of medical CPT coding and Category I codes
Experience with insurance carriers including Medicaid preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work both independently and part of a team
