    We are seeking a dedicated Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential group home for individuals with disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations, coordinating resident care, and fostering a safe, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in disability services, staff supervision, and program administration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

    Supervise, train, and evaluate direct care staff to ensure high-quality care.

    Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including APD (Agency for Persons with Disabilities) standards.

    Develop and implement individualized support plans (ISPs) in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams.

    Monitor residents’ health, well-being, and progress, coordinating medical appointments and services as needed.

    Oversee scheduling, staff coverage, and maintain sufficient staffing levels.

    Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, medication administration, and daily documentation.

    Handle resident concerns, behavioral issues, and crisis situations professionally and effectively.

    Communicate with families, guardians, and external agencies to advocate for residents' needs.

    Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and financial aspects related to the home’s operations.

    Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment for all residents and staff.

    Qualifications:

    · A minimum of a BS in any area related to the job description, preferably BS in Psychology, Sociology, or Business Administration

    Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

    Knowledge of Florida APD regulations and group home management best practices.

    CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification, Zero Tolerance, HIPAA, etc. (or willingness to obtain).

    Valid driver’s license and ability to transport residents if needed.

    Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    Ability to solve problems, handle crises, and adapt to change.
