    LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN GTE FINANCIAL IN A BUSINESS LENDING PROCESSOR/CLOSER ROLE?

     

    GTE Financial is looking for organized, professional, friendly people to join our fun working environment as a Business Lending Processor/Closer. They will be responsible for managing the process of business loans, while providing exceptional service to all applicants and our business partners.

     

    Our Business Lending Processor/Closers analyze loan information to determine if decision is within the lending guidelines and review loan documentation for accuracy/completeness. They educate and inform necessary parties of counter-offers, loan stipulations, and reasons for denial.

     

    WHAT DOES GTE LOOK FOR IN A BUSINESS LENDING PROCESSOR/CLOSER?

     

    • Processor/closer shall be the primary contact for gathering documents and to coordinate closing with all third-party vendors (e.g. appraisal, environmental reports, title company, etc.).
    • Possesses a working knowledge of government rules and/or regulations related to business lending and fraud to include assistance in administration and reporting for SBA loans to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedure requirements.
    • Utilization of internal loan document system or work directly with outside firms for attorney prepared documentation.
    • Ensuring loans are documented, funded and booked according to the credit approval and ensuring any post-closing items and exceptions are resolved.
    • Process rate reductions, re-price changes, extensions and modifications for existing commercial real estate loans.
    • Process release of mortgages, assignment of rents and leases, UCCs and vehicle liens for paid of commercial loans.
    • Complete administrative reports: Colson, board and quarterly reports for audit.
    • Manage ongoing loan monitoring and tracking of UCC filings, insurance, mortgage recordings, title liens, possessory collateral, and financial information for each active loan, per loan and policy guidelines.
    • Assist with auditing depository account documents, as received, for new account openings.
    • Support Member Care and Community Financial Centers on business services and products.
    • Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to: U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
    • Familiarity with banking and credit union regulations strongly desired.
    • Bilingual preferred(English/Spanish).

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience or combination of education and experience

     

     

     

    POSITION DETAILS:

     

                Location:                       Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters

    Department Hours:                     Monday – Friday (8:00 am to 6:00 pm)  Saturday (9:00 am to 1:00 pm)
