Job description Service Monitor Welcome to the GVC! Bronx based Transportation Company Position Description: When you join our team as a Service Monitor, you'll be responsible for efficiently processing Customers' transactions while providing excellent service. You'll also help with keeping your work space neat and looking its best, all while maintaining inviting and friendly atmosphere. Key Responsibilities * Collect payment/vouches from drivers * Verify Information via computer and cross match driver's paperwork with said * Data entry and scanning in a timely manner. * Maintain clean and orderly work environment. * Work with other team members in a fast pace environment Basic Qualifications * Bilingual preferred. * Basic mathematics skills. * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Cash handling experience required. Preferably have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and listen to feedback. Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. So, a full open availability would be ideal. Majority of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities. Majority of work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space. The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. * Prefer to have prior work experience with working in the essential services business. Preferred qualifications are not a must, but greatly welcomed and appreciated. We welcome those with willingness to learn and grow as a individual and patience to help customers/employees alike and those in need. The shift times are 8 to 4 pm, 9 to 5 pm, 2 to 10pm and 4pm to 12am. We do have training and evaluation period for those who do pass our interview. See you soon!
