    Job Description

    We are seeking a confident, efficient person to fill this quality department role.

    The focus of this position is to work within the quality department doing gage calibration, which includes documentation within High QA software as well as building gages when needed. Final inspection of products is also a component of this position. Must be able to stay focused for long periods of the day and move between specialized tasks as needed. This person must be a diligent, serious person that enjoys bringing accountability to their work to achieve the goals of the department.

    The pace for this position will be unassuming and often faster than meets the eye. Each day is different from the next and will often require switching between tasks based on the priorities within the department. Attention to detail is a major focus of the job. As a time factor the work much be done on time, as well as correctly. This is a position where established guidelines, structure, and established policies much be followed closely. The successful candidate will be a valued member of our team who performs an important role within the quality department, reporting directly to the quality manager.

     

    Essential Duties:

    • Calibration of gages.
    • Final inspection of complicated aerospace industry parts.
    • Building gages for floor use.
    • Bubbling blue prints.

    Your Qualifications:

    • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
    • Strong verbal and written skills required.
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 and industry standards preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
    • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
    • Familiarity with High QA software preferred.
    • CMM/PCDmis a plus
    • High visual acuity.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • High School graduate or GED
    • 3+ years of industry experience; preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Compensation
    $67,000 per year
