    Job Description

    We’re looking for a Seasonal Human Resources Coordinator to support People Services services and Payroll for over 2,500 summer staff. This HR superstar will be action-oriented, a quick learner, and a detail-oriented leader who thrives on completing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    ** YOU WILL**

    • Complete bi-weekly tasks to process payroll for approximately 2,500 summer staff using ADP Totalsource payroll software.
    • Build on existing team experience to identify and implement year-over-year improvements our HR processes and resources.
    • Deliver HR & Payroll related communication through our ticketing/email system and will execute on follow-up tasks related to employee inquiries.
    • Prepare new hire onboarding resources and track completion of required documents.
    • Assist in setting up employee access and providing necessary onboarding resources.
    • Provide team and general human resources support, maintaining a high level of approachability, warmth, accountability, and demonstration of service.

    COMPENSATION

    We anticipate the compensation for this seasonal, Full-Time, non-exempt, position to range from $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary and will be based on multiple factors, including geography and professional experience.

    ** WORK LOCATION**

    Remote, work-from-home, location is possible in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois, and Washington. Galileo is only able to employ individuals residing in the states listed.

    Employees located in the San Francisco Bay area adhere to a hybrid office and work-from-home policy. Galileo Headquarters is located at 111 Myrtle St, Ste 300, Oakland, CA 94607.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of administrative experience required
    • Solid command of Microsoft Suite and Google products (specifically Excel and Google Sheets)
    • The ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
    • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to engage professionally and enthusiastically with all
    • Payroll experience (particularly ADP) preferred, but not required
    • Experience with ticketing and project management (particularly Salesforce) preferred, but not required
    • Able to solicit and implement feedback to improve performance
