GENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsible for assisting in implementing an effective compliance programs ensuring all levels of compliance are maintained set by our regulatory agencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Function as a Compliance Analyst for Republic Bank performing all duties generally associated with this position including but not limited to:
- Maintains a competent level of expertise and knowledge of requirements of various rules, regulations governing the banks activities.
- Reviews, analyzes and communicates regulatory changes.
- Works with the line of business to complete and maintain current compliance risk assessments.
- Performs compliance reviews and testing, gather supporting documents, communicate findings, and draft comprehensive reports on the area reviewed and assure corrective actions were taken.
- Assists in the implementation and reporting of the CRA program, including review of data entry of HMDA and CRA reportable loans by following current regulatory guidelines.
- Reviews marketing materials, customer communications, and account disclosures for accuracy and adherence to consumer compliance laws and regulations.
- Assists in developing and providing training for employees on new regulations or refresher courses as needed to ensure proper policies, procedures, and practices are in place.
- Evaluates complaints to identify root causes for potential regulatory compliance risks and possible weaknesses and insufficiencies of Bank policy and procedures.
- Produces reports for senior management regarding status of compliance programs and emerging issues.
- Performs and monitors compliance activities as delegated by the Compliance/CRA Officer.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of compliance audit and/or operations experience with a financial institution
- CRCM certification preferred
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations, including CRA, Fair Lending and UDAAP regulations
- Experience in providing compliance training preferred
