TITLE: Program Manager, UPLIFT Service Partnership
REPORTS TO: Senior Program Manager
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
WORK LOCATION: Miami-Dade
SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $60,000 (non-negotiable)
POSITION SUMMARY
The UPLIFT Service Partnership is a network of service providers working together to provide coordinated services to families in communities where children are at-risk of child abuse or neglect; poor school attendance; poor academic performance; adverse behaviors and exposure to violence. The overall goal is to reduce child risk factors, increase child and family protective factors, increase parental and family functioning, and strengthen lasting family supports. UPLIFT provides meaningful care coordination, comprehensive case management and wrap-around services to youth and families. The UPLIFT team consists of Case Coordinators who, among other responsibilities, engage in community awareness and recruitment activities, triage families in need, identify needs through assessments, develop services plans, connect families to the right services and support the family through case management until family risk factors have decreased and strengths have increased sufficiently.
UPLIFT Service Partnership Program Manager provides day-to-day supervision and oversight of the team and program to ensure performance outcomes and program deliverables are exceeded and builds and strengthens relationships with a meaningful network of providers and stakeholders in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provides supervision and direction to team of care coordinators/case managers to ensure performance and expectations are met or exceeded.
· Ensuring compliance with grant requirements/obligations.
· Provides appropriate support to the Community Partnership, volunteers, committees, and task forces to accomplish mission.
· Ensures an effective and efficient process flow of service delivery from the point of intake through case closure.
· Conducts strategic partnership member outreach and ensures meaningful engagement and participation.
· Maintaining strong relationships (including via coordination and facilitation of meetings) with members of the Community Partnership and cultivating new relationships with other groups, where appropriate.
· Facilitates interface with larger systems and fosters effective collaborative relationships.
· Facilitates coordination with other regional and county service partnerships.
· Overseeing the development and employment of all necessary processes and systems required for implementation of the program efficiently and effectively.
· Promoting and fostering a team culture which is client-centered, and solutions focused.
· Ensures that all aspects of the program’s work plan are implemented with excellence.
· Ensures that all program activities are in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
· Ensures grant financial management and grant required reporting is submitted accurately and on time.
· Provides leadership for future program development and sustainability.
· Stays abreast of local and regional community issues; emerging trends and best practices applicable to the work of the community service partnership
· Attends meetings with affinity groups representing the organization in a professional manner.
· Serves as an Ambassador of Gang Alternative, Inc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, social work, and/or community planning or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
· At least 3 years of experience supervising case managers/care coordinators.
· At least 3 years of experience in program management; experience in non-profit program management is preferred.
· Requires excellent leadership skills in community involvement and organizations
· Excellent communication skills and ability to reach a variety of audiences.
· Requires strong organizational, management skills and writing skills; prior experience managing government grants, coordinating with community partners, community development and planning, financial management and reporting.
· Requires excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of the community and social services in Miami-Dade County, and resources for substance abuse, cultural competence and ability to work effectively with youth and adult volunteers.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Excellent organizational skills, dependent and responsive with attention to details and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
· Ability to work effectively in team environment, excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude and maximum discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
· Willingness to work flexible schedules as deemed necessary including weekends and evenings.
· Bilingual (Haitian Kreyol or Spanish strongly preferred.)
Note:
· This position may require independent travel between workstation and other sites. Consequently, the incumbent must always maintain valid Driver’s License and insurance coverage on personal vehicle during employment.
· Performing the duties of this position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, reach, talk, hear and lift presentation materials, including equipment.
