Come join our excellent kitchen staff at Boucherie! We are looking for a hard-working, motivated, self-disciplined chef to work Garde Manger during dinner service. This is an excellent opportunity for a young chef to learn from award-winning Head Chef and Owner, Nathanial Zimet, as he works closely to mentor the chefs in the kitchen. Boucherie welcomes creative risk-takers in the kitchen, who want to hone their craft and advance in the profession. $16 PER HOUR, or more with experience!
Minimum Qualifications Include:
1-3 years experience in the restaurant industry;
Flexible schedule and availability to work weekend shifts;
Outstanding work ethic;
Must be a team player;
Good communication skills; and
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Daily food prep;
Assisting with inventory;
Preparing cold dishes, soups, and the amuse bouche;
Assisting other chefs throughout dinner service;
Proper food storage; and
Nightly cleanup.
