Job Summary

We are seeking a Loader to join our team. In this role, you will load customers vehicles with plants and plant materials they have purchased. You will also be unloading inbound deliveries of plants and materials from suppliers. You must be able to lift at least 75 lbs through the day. This may include bringing stock from our growing area in the back up to the front of our Garden Center, bagging mulch and other bulk products, and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Transport plants and materials one location to another

Load customers vehicles to ensure plants and materials are transported in a safe manner

Unload trees, plants and materials from inbound delivery trucks, including semi-trucks

Some general care of plant materials such as watering, weeding, fertilizing, trimming etc.

Provide assistance to other staff members as needed

Qualifications

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and working in all types of weather

Able to lift at least 75 lbs

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
