Garner Appliance & Mattress is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused sales professional to join our team. This commission-based role involves assisting customers in selecting appliances and mattresses for their homes while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining the integrity and values of our company. We pride ourselves on high standards of professionalism and customer service and we are looking for a team player who shares these values. Must be willing to train and eager to learn with sales experience preferred but not required. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desired but not mandatory.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings and categories and stay up to date with new products and selling techniques.

Work Saturdays, with a day off during the week.

Attend sales meetings and off-site vendor trainings as required.

Uphold a professional appearance (as per dress code), positive attitude, and respectfulness.

Assist customers in all aspects, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a seamless selling process including after-sale follow-up.

Demonstrate a willingness to support customers and colleagues alike.

Manage the Open Sales Order Report on a weekly basis.

Learn and utilize Garner Appliance and Mattress’ computer system efficiently.

Assist with store opening and closing procedures.

Help maintain a clean and organized showroom and work area.

Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and store operations.
