Job Description

Garrett is looking for a motivated Jr. Front End Developer to help manage and enhance our e-commerce presence through development. This role will report directly to the Lead Developer of Front End with a dotted line matrix to the Vice President of Technology. Responsibilities will include improving and supporting Garrett's e-commerce sites and internal applications while collaborating on cross-functional development projects. Responsibilities * Monitor and improve front-end performance and page speed. * Build and support internal applications for automating E-Commerce processes and tasks using APIs or other technologies * Develop and implement high-quality, front-end code in a BigCommerce Stencil environment * Develop highly responsive, mobile-first user interfaces using JavaScript with React, HTML, CSS * Maintain and support various 3rd party applications within the Garrett front-end application stack, such as Locally, ShipperHQ, Klevu, Nosto, Klaviyo, etc. * Collaborate with development, creative, and marketing teams to develop or improve dynamic web content blocks and components with JavaScript and content management systems * Support cross-functional development projects for SEA&C, Customer Experience, and brand marketing teams. Qualifications * Proven work experience as a Front End Developer * 1-2 years of experience developing under ADA and WCAG guidelines (American Disability Act) required * 1-2 years of proven web development experience * 1-2 years of experience in HTML & CSS * 6 months - 1 year of experience with React tools, including React.js, React-Redux, etc. * 6 months - 1 year of experience in JavaScript * 6 months - 1 year of experience with content management systems, APIs, and product management systems * Experience with BigCommerce or Stencil is a plus * Basic experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & Illustrator) is a plus Company Description At Garrett Popcorn Shops, we've maintained our dedication to fresh, delicious Popcorn since we first opened at 10 West Madison Street in Chicago.
