Job description

Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs for gas fireplaces.
Replace or repair faulty components, including gas valves, ignition systems, thermocouples, and thermopiles.
Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of gas fireplaces to ensure efficient operation and prolong their lifespan.
Install new gas fireplaces in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex fireplace issues and find effective solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining repair options, and offering maintenance tips.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Obtain NFI Certification within one (1) calendar year.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an Appliance Technician.
Basic knowledge of gas fireplace systems, components, and operation.
Familiarity with electrical and gas systems and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
