Responsibilities: • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines • Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration • Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate • Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases with a focus on prevention • Provide dentistry services such as periodontal therapy, root canals, extractions, fillings, bridges, crowns, implants, sleep appliances, and ortho • Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care • Use dental instruments safely and effectively to avoid accidents • Stay abreast with the latest developments in the dental field • Examine patients, obtain a medical history, and develop treatment plans • Monitor patient progress and maintain treatment records • Work with the clinic team to provide quality patient care services • Address clinical issues promptly and accurately Qualifications: • Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications • Unrestricted and current state license in good standing • Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry • Computer proficiency is desired • Advanced knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is helpful Compensation: $175,000 - $300,000 yearly
