Our growing construction company is looking for a reliable and capable general laborer to join our team. You’ll follow the project foreman’s direction to prepare job sites, load and unload material, remove debris, help team members, work on the interior and exterior of homes. You should love doing something different every day and take pride in a job well done. Our team works 4 days a week, 10 hour days. Every week you have a three day weekend! Responsibilities: • Clear away any trash, debris, or hazardous materials to prep the site before construction begins • Support tradespeople and heavy equipment workers to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing and any other aspect of the project • Load, unload and prepare any tools or materials on site that will be used to complete the build, so the crew can operate efficiently • Help your team with all stages of the build to make sure that the job is done as efficiently as possible • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure you and your team members are free from injury Qualifications: • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Candidates who have experience using construction equipment such as forklift, power tools, and hand tools highly preferred • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, good balance, and have the physical strength to be able to do the work • Should have general knowledge of building and construction, but we are willing to provide training • Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity Compensation: $45,000
